I guess it is true the simple things in life do make you happy. Today I went to Staples and bought binder clips. Not just any ordinary binder clips but pretty ones. Take a look. Aren't they so lovely! And a post wouldn't be a post without a picture of kids.

Yesterday I went to the beach with the kids. While there I met a dog named Poochie that likes to swing. It was one of the craziest things that I have ever seen.

Three little monkeys jumping on the bed one fell off and bonked his head and momma called the doctor and the doctor said no more monkeys jumping on the bed!

LoveBug Portraits -- Lucas Sneak Peek

On Saturday I had the joy to meet Lucas and learn about some of his recent adventures. At first I don't think Lucas knew what to think of me, but as we got further into the session I think he, like many of my other clients, began to see I am a little crazy, crazy in a good way that is :) Thanks for a fun afternoon guys!

Happy Mothers Day

Just wanted to wish you all a happy mothers day. Here's some oldies. Looking at these I kind of felt I was looking at a younger version of myself.

SHe and the people of Guatemala

As many of you know I love to help others. One of my friends turned me on to the SHe humanitation project which helps the people of the Polochic Valley in Guatemala. It so happens that my old friend Scott Porter is heading up this project. Props for Scott and gang.

The goals of the project are to:

1. Provide assistance to a region of great need.

2. Provide training to local people, allowing them to move towards becoming a self-developing community.

3. Provide opportunities to experience Guatemalan culture through working side-by-side with the local people, participating in joint community and social events, and visiting the homes of Guatemalans.

4. Inspire others to pursue or create similar projects to serve around the world in the future.
   
   

I am going to cash in my flyer miles and credit card points to make this happen. I currently I am short $300. In hopes of raising I will be auctioning off a few prints. The winners will make tax ductable donations to SHe and not to me.

These are one of a kind prints and will only be printed once for the winner. This means you will own a one of a kind photo from your truely. You choose the size and I will cut a custom matte to fit your frame and mail or hand deliver the print.  For those of you who don't have a mothers day present yet this would be great gift. 

The starting bid on each print is $50. If you would like to bid on a photo that other then the ones listed in this post that you have seen on my blog please email me and I would love to add it to the list.

Tomorrow I plan on adding some california / Hawaii pictures that I have taken in the past, stay tooned.
